Annaliese Kowert plays violin in the Miami City Ballet and other orchestras in Naples and Nashville, and recently moved to Miami after teaching and directing the Palm Beach Suzuki School. Originally from Madison, WI, she began her training at age four with the Suzuki Method and received her bachelor’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music studying with Paul Kantor. An avid performer as well as educator, she has played across the US and believes in the transformative power of music. She has spent her summers as a fellow at the Aspen Music Festival and School and Eastern Music Festival, and recently was a Mancini fellow at the Frost School of Music.
Annaliese has had the opportunity to train with some wonderful teachers and is certified through Suzuki book 5. She teaches all ages, and hopes her students develop a lifelong relationship with music with skills to pursue their excellence.
