Ms. Vera has experience teaching students for over 15 years such as the University of Miami, Conservatorio de Musica Amadeo Roldan, Miami Bethany Church, St. Philips Episcopal Church and School, Allegro School of Music and through private lessons. She received her Masters in Violin Performance from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music in 2012.
Beatriz is a native of Cuba and has been chosen to travel abroad and represent her country in numerous international events. She has toured with the “Camerata Romeu” and flamenco guitarist, Serranito, as well as pianist, Polly Ferman. Beatriz has also recorded with the “Camerata Romeu” under the direction of Brazilian Egberto Gismonti and has shared the stage as part of the Henry Mancini Institute with artists such as David Grusin, Jon Secada, Mark O’Connor
Beatriz Vera won the Certificate of Recognition for Juventudes Musicales in Romania, 2003. First Prize, Jose White International Competition, 2003. First Prize, Amadeo Roldàn National Music Competition, 2002. She was also chosen to participate in the Pavarotti Festival in Italy, 2000. She is also the Grand Prize for the Cultural Week Violin Competition, 1995.
Ms. Vera is a violinist with experience performing in numerous master classes conducted by artists such as Eric Grossman, Ilmar Lopez-Gavilan, Joseph Silverstein and Stephen Rose.
